I got a new pc and monitor a couple months ago now and when I first got it and really up until yesterday I had no issues using it. I was on call with a friend and we decided to switch from playing one game (which had been running with no issues) to valorant and when I launched valorant I noticed immediately that it was unusually laggy which had never really happened before, it was basically unplayable and despite me closing all other things I had open other than discord it was still unbearably laggy. I tried restarting the pc but when I turned it back on not only was the game still laggy but it also no longer recognized the fact that my headphones were connected no matter how many times I tried to troubleshoot it or reconnect the cable it wouldn’t let me turn my audio on. I also tried testing other games to see if the lag was a valorant only issue and when I launched osu even just the starting screen was incredibly laggy so I didn’t even try to play anything.
I decide to leave it for the next day and when I woke up I and tried to turn the pc on the monitor wouldn’t connect to the pc, I tried to disconnect the cable connecting the monitor to the pc to try and see if it was broken or at least to reconnect it again but it was really tightly connected and I didn’t want to risk breaking it and decided I’d try again when I got home from work.
I get home from work and the monitor still won’t connect and for some reason the pc only turns on when I turn on the monitor which is weird.
What the fuck do I do dude i spent way too much money on this shit for it to suddenly break down like this
