>>1479513 >>1479516 >>1479559If you do happen to purchase a Logitech M720 mouse, it uses either the windows Driver/App called "Logitech Options" or the Service/App called "Logi Options+".
https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024361233--SoftwareIt is recommended you not get Logi Options+ because it has terms where you basically relinquish privacy rights as use of your mouse on applications and websites and games means it is able to collect that usage data and send it back to Logitech.
You could already see how Logitech forces you to even contact their site because to add or remove devices to the unifying bluetooth receiver hardware dongle with your PC, you have to contact the Logitech website and basically run server side software to adjust things in your PC. Naturally, that means it means you granted them read/write access to at least one of the PC protected folders.
If you are a member of any "secret" or sekret site, I urge you not to be the weakest security link. Hopefully, the internal webpages and files of these sites don't get catalogued by all the data collection services out there. For example, Logi Options+ collects forum usage info of any forum sites you visit, your forum posting information, your community posting information, IP addresses you access, location information, and unique addresses you visit. It may also collect info/responses on contests and surveys you enter.
