I'm trying to find the terminology for these ways of thinking. This isn't part of homework or anything, im just trying to find a starting place to read more.
One way is more logical. "We should do this in order to prevent from happening" "You should clean your room to prevent bacterial growth"
The other is not necessarily emotional, but its based more on vibes. "You should clean your room because it gives off bad vibes" Stuff like "Good always wins because it is good". "You have to follow your heart".
Im not sure if magical thinking is the right word.
Yeah, ihavent really asked this well, but im just looking for like a wiki article about it or something like. standford entry of philosophy about it.
