At the start of the year I saw a rendering hook or codec or whatever for old versions of Sony Vegas that intercept the renderer to get you GPU acceleration on modern cards—my modern GPU is incompatible Vegas 13 and so all rendering is done by the CPU, which is quite slow. Unfortunately, I told myself "I'll download it later" but never did, and now I can't find it! I believe it may have been on github.
