Back in the summer of 2019, I watched the last half of a documentary on PBS (my local station was KCTS 9 if that helps) about slavery in modern day India.
I cannot find it because PBS made another much more popular documentary series about the slavery of American Indians, so everything about *India* is getting overwhelmed.
I think the documentary was about an hour long and it was about slavery in India. Here are some sections that I remember:
>Interview with family of enslaved brickmakers
>Interview with a man who believes that his sister sold his daughter into slavery but cannot report it because the police demand too large a bribe
>Ends with an Indian academic, who has been interviewed throughout the show, saying that there is going to be some kind of big bloody revolution in India where all the upper castes and rich are killed
