Using Firefox right now but I've been stumbling upon lots of problems lately. Slowing youtube down isn't one because I rarely watch it, but it often doesn't load all site functionality, doesn't load videos on streaming sites or porn sites, when using microsoft's copilot or bing the page freezes or doesn't load and I need to refresh it.
On streaming websites(like piracy sites or porn) it says "video unavailable or format not supported" and that's it, no refreshing fixes it.
Sometimes when browsing 4chan, when I open a thread or a board in new tab it starts loading it, stops and I need to close the new tab, refresh the tab I opened it from and then open it again so it loads.
Can't really tell what's causing all this and if I should try reinstalling Firefox or give Arc a try.
I don't remember disabling javascript, I'm pretty sure UblockOrigin isn't shitting it up because all these things work with Arc. Other than UblockOrigin I've got the "I still don't care about cookies" extension and Tampermonkey, but Tampermonkey I use for 4chanX and a custom script hiding annoying shit from the homepage.
I haven't really done any of the "hardening" aka these scripts and settings "increasing privacy" because fuck privacy anyways, we're all points of data in files somewhere anyways, it's nothing personal and last time I did this it all got fucked.
I really like Firefox, I've put a small custom theme, the builtin containers extension is great, customizing the new page is awesome but I really can barely take it anymore with the 4chan new tabs crashing and not loading and websites not loading.
The regex101 website also rarely works, it loads halfway and I need to refresh it a few times.
