Recommend me a good manga that doesn't have an anime

Looking for a good manga that doesn't have a full anime adaptation, and most likely won't get one in the near future.
I usually just watch anime, but I'm looking for some manga to read. If it has an anime, I'd rather watch that, which is why I'm looking for sth that doesn't. Only manga I've read so far is Berserk.
As for genre, preferably shounen/seinen, and action/adventure. Ideally sth I could comfortably read in public.
Examples of some anime/manga I really like:

idk if these suggestions will suit your taste exactly and some of them technically have anime adaptations that are either incomplete or diverge from the source material but I think they're really good
if you like berserk's art style you might like witch hat atelier
houseki no kuni has an anime but it only covers the very first part of the manga
the original 1970s devilman and its sequels if you want to read berk's granddad(there are devilman animes but I don't think they're really direct adaptations)
steel ball run(the part of jojo that hasn't been animated yet, it's unrelated to the previous ones so you don't have to watch them)
ajin (the anime follows a different plot from the manga)
BLAME!
duranki(unfinished and only 6 chapters but it was made by kentaro miura and is pretty cool)

Note that all of the above have parts that might not be considered safe for work, so possibly not something you can read comfortably in public if you have prying eyes around you. I adore Itoh Sei's art and panelling, and Warai Naku's work while at times confusingly composed utilizes light and shadow and especially very heavy use of ink extremely well. Especially the first two of the are highlights and hidden gems of the medium to me.
