I have one of those LG 27gl83A 144hz monitor for gaming:
1. For gaming: I connect using a display port in to display port out from my Desktop to the monitor
2. For work: for some reason the 2021 macbook pro only connects through usbc. So each time I remove the dp in- dp out cable and connect using another cable: display port goes to monitor and usb c connects to my laptop
Also reconnect keyboard, mouse but that is not so important.
I was looking into a kvm switch to remove these extra steps - but a little confused on which one even works - I see a lot of cheaper options but they don't seem to have a usbc option. Which one will work for me?
