so i've had this pc for a few months and i've been trying to crack this zip file that's been on it since i got it but no matter what i try i can't find the password, the unc who gifted it to me is long gone so can't ask for the password.
i've tried john the ripper,hashcat and fcrackzip. and all i know is that i have no clue what im doing. i have 2 hashs for the zip, 1 from zip2john and the other from cmd. my pc is a shitty windows 11. there are 2 mp4 files inside but i can't extract them. and finally the only thing that might be working is this github 'new' version of johntheripper that's been on for 3 days but it said 90.39% accepted and now it's gone down to 89% and counting each time i press S. is there any site or fourm i could get help(perferibly where i am anonymous i'm still kinda scared of this hacking stuff).
