Washed up millennial here in a phase in my life where I'm trying to go back and get full archives of old anime I enjoyed when I was younger. I've had mixed results overall, but one I've been having a lot of trouble re-acquiring is Naruto/Shippuuden. The problem I'm having is that the old fansub groups I liked are long defunct, but the "official release" subs done by Crunchyroll have such abysmally awful writing that they render the show completely unwatchable for me.

Specifically, I'm looking for ANBU/AnimeOne and Dattebayo for the original Naruto, and Dattebayo, Taka, and Kurama for Shippuuden. Kurama disbanded after Shippuuden episode 385 and no good English translators ever picked up where they left off, so a complete old-school fansub set would go up to that episode (Hatsuyuki/NotWCP technically tried to carry the torch, but they're not much better than Crunchyroll).

If anyone can point me in the right direction here, I'd be eternally grateful, this was a huge part of my childhood. Blows my mind that this stuff might be lost media while full-series torrents with Crunchyroll subs are thriving. Alternatively, if there are any more recent English fansubs for the series of similar quality to Dattebayo/Taka/Kurama, that would work too.
