i can't find pictures or video of this anime using any of the search methods I know of.
The main thing I can remember, is that it was an extremely tragic and dark anime that took place in a fairly generic high fantasy world, and it centered around the MC finding a dragon egg, then taking care of a baby dragon for several episodes.
This dragon was blue, kinda cutesy, with a white tummy I think. After a few episodes, the baby dragon evolves into a dragon waifu, that basically just looks like an anime girl in stylized blue dragon armor with wings. The main characteristic I remember is that her armor and build was kinda sexy, her hair was light blue, and she was super grateful to the MC for taking care of her as a hatchling.
Not too long after this evolution, she winds up flying around this desert village, like she's looking for help or something, then the villagers lure her in to a false sense of complacency, take advantage of her naivety, capture her, and club her to death.
That's mostly all I can remember, other than it was an extremely tragic and controversial show, where a lot of characters would get killed off in gruesome ways. Seemed like getting people to quickly invest in characters just to kill them for shock value was the point of the show.
Probably got bad ratings and memory holed pretty hard.
