i fell in love with the dell xps 17” line, don’t know if i fell for it or if it would be worth the money

so my old laptop is a Lenovo G710 and quite old think it’s time for a new one
pressed performance wise everything out of it but i should send it into pension

for semi private use cases
so i run programs like Autodesk inventor, Solidworks, Blender
Do some programming etc.
I’m looking for a state of the art laptop that’s capable of handling big data, rendering, engineering and virtual machines
if possible some lokal “small” llm

Windows + WSL or Linux

any better ideas or recommendations? does or don’t
it should live quite a few years and work well and hard and be portable
