I'm curious if there's a way to transfer my save data from the version of a game I've been playing off Epic and apply it to the torrented one.
So I got Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for free off Epic games, but there are story DLCs that need to be paid for. I torrented a deluxe edition to get around that, but that version still only has the save files from way back when I first played the game years ago. I think I found the save file locations for the Epic version (%appdata% -> Roaming -> Eidos Montreal -> DXNG), but I can't find where the save data is held for the torrented version.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but once I find where the torrented save data is, I only need to copy-paste the save file data into wherever the torrented saves are and overwrite.
Any ideas?
