Hello, I'm a 4th-year biomedical design engineering student(Gajin), and I want to intern at a Japanese biomedical firm starting from May next year.
My Japanese skills are non-existent, but I have some experience in the field. I know some people who got to intern in Japan as Gajins but not in the biomed field tho.
I asked my Japanese teacher to help me get in touch with some of the companies below, but she told me that they don't take in international students.
Shimadzu Corporation - https://www.shimadzu.co.jp/
Otsuka Medical Devices - https://www.omd.otsuka.com/
Kowa - https://www.kowa.co.jp/e/life/index.htm
Fukuda Denshi - https://fukuda.com
Teijin Nakashima Medical - https://www.teijin-nakashima.co.jp/rd/introduction/
Fukuda Sangyo - https://www.fukuda-sangyo.co.jp/
Nihon Koden - https://www.nihonkohden.co.jp/index.html
Terumo - https://www.terumo.co.jp/
Omron - https://www.omron.com/jp/ja/
Please give me some advice on how to get an internship in Japan.
There are no good biomedical firms in my country
The most cutting-edge biomed firms are in Japan, the US and the EU. and getting a Japanese visa is far easier when compared to EU or the US
