>>1488084It isn't hard if you don't have fobia of certain places like reddit and discord, I know you might have cringed just now but bear with me for a second: I don't mean all the campaigns that start there are perfect, or even good, it's a trial and error type of thing and you can't let a bad first impression turn you off, but you just need to get it right one (1) time, once a good group gets going there's no reason for splitting.
Also it might be easier to aim for more mainstream systems like D&D, start with D&D groups and later with good shilling you could convince them to play a nicher system, aiming for something like "Traveller" from the get go means it'll be harder to get a group going, and if the group flops then it's too much work to try a second time. The average D&D group is probably worse than the average Traveller group, but since D&D has tons of more people playing, it's easier to drop a bad group and roll the RNG dice to try a new one.
