Probably an autist here, but can somebody explain to me if this is grammatically correct to say "again" in this context? Is he just emphasizing that he was never told?

Context: The girl just said to stop over to her house later. She never said where her house was. The protagonist/Micah there says "again" despite never being told where her house is.
