Left my ROG G14 2022 on for a few hours during the night because I fell asleep watching YouTube and the thing continued playing videos through autoplay, which I though was disabled, instead of going into sleep mode.
Now I seem to have burn in on the screen, though since its an IPS I thought that impossible and saw that image retention or persistence is the more common occurence. The lines on the screen contain elements of the brave browser and windows taskbar, among other YouTube elements. In various conditions the retention behaves differently, like when I'm playing The Witcher 3 only pale or light grey surfaces cause it to become visible while anything colorful almost completely masks it. Any help would be appreciated since reddit faggots had no good answer for me.
