A capture group containing two newlines, plus everything that comes before them. Then an open curly brace, a capital X, any character, and finally a closing curly brace.

What are you trying to filter/highlight?

because on /tv/, i want to highlight/filter all posts about the movie Alien

Matches a linefeed.
but why are 2 linefeeds necessary? does the \n specifically refer to the Character after the X?
does it mean that anything like:
*(Anything that comes before) + \n\n (two lines that are connected to that character X) like: "Bullshit-Alien-Movie, Sequel 2 Alien, My fav Alien Movie"...all this will be filtered?

You're overcomplicating things. If all you want to do is filter out mentions of the word "alien", then all you need is:
/alien/i

Though keep in mind that will filter *all* mentions of the word (case insensitive).

The i flag at the end makes the regex case-insensitive, so it'll match Alien, alien, ALIEN, and everything in between.
