I mean it was literally Chinese, not Japanese. And they mostly make CG cartoons, but this was actually 2D and decently animated. It aired about 5+ years ago and it seemed like standard shounenshit. It was a fantasy world with modern tech, but monsters and superpowers. MC was a young looking guy who was part of some kind of explorer or ranger organization, and wore a military looking uniform with a cap.
I'm not sure about the language, it may have just been based off Chinese material but made a by a Japanese studio.
