Hey guys, can someone help me out with some math? It's been a few years since college.

My boss at work has asked me to do something I believe is unethical and probably illegal. I'm doing materials testing in a lab. I am a lowly lab technician. There is a 175 degree drying oven which is always on in the lab. It's always at 175 degrees. The samples I'm working with are 100 grams with a specific heat of 0.2 cal/gram (simple google search). The samples cannot get above 60 degrees or else the test is invalid. It takes time to grind the samples though so my boss told me to put them in the oven to dry them faster to make grinding easier. When I reminded him that the samples cannot get above 60 degrees he told me to put it in the oven for 10 minutes to dry it faster anyway.

How long will it take a 100g sample with a specific heat of 0.2 placed in a 175 degree oven to reach 60 degrees and invalidate the test?
