I'm trying to find a game I played long ago. I believe it was a 3ds game made by Square-Enix. It might have been a final fantasy named game but I don't believe it was. Only reason I think it was made by square enix is because you could buy armor that is cosmetic and some of that armor was stereotypical final fantasy gear (like black mage, or white mage ect). I think you could recruit people and use up to 4 at a time. The game had a new game plus option as well. One of the people you can recruit required you beat the game 4ish times before they would consider you worthy (best part is they were complete shit and someone in the town even says something like "Wouldn't it be funny if the pompous guy who acts like a legend was actually weak?"). I even believe that this bonus guy looked like a penguin, but I might be mistaken. The combat was real time as well. This is all I recall from the game.
