Topic of the movie is quite weird akin to Lolita I guess? so while not nsfw at all just feel like I should bring that up from the start.
Anyways I remember watching a movie a couple years ago about some young guy who struggles to get back into society after he committed a sexual crime against well, you get the idea. The movie was from Europe, probably Scandinavian I think? the guy ends up helping a little girl whose mother simply gives zero fucks about after they move in near his house, he's constantly receiving help from his mother and psychiatrist and it's about him holding back his urges while trying to do the right thing. Think the title was the name of a fish, but I'm not sure, a fish name but in some Scandinavian language? Seems the movie isn't known out there and I don't feel like googling for such a specific story but the movie was based off a book. The movie isn't old and is probably from around 2007-2020, as I said the only aspects I remember is it being European, from Sweden, Finland or something, and that it had the title of a fish name maybe, also that it was based off a book.
