Is there any manga that:
>Is not just made of other mangas recycled
>Is not slice of life
>Is not romance
>Is not Harem
>Is not GL/BL ( or other variations of faggot shit )
>Doesn't contort reality in an attempt to coddle the protagonist by using plot armor
>Is built in a world, that even if fictional, is somewhat "believable", and doesn't contradict itself
And has a protagonist that:
>Doesn't do silly stupid shit
>Is not dense as a neutron star
>Is actually interesting

At this point, i don't mind if the plot is an overused one, i just want a good quality manga.

Any book that's been either written by a woman, translated by a woman, or written around a female protagonist, is completely void of any worthwhile substance. Knowing whether or not the book is written/translated by a female, or is centered around a female, will help me save my time by not reading it, much like all the modern slop that plagues the shelves of every bookstore and library.

Pretty short, around 83 chapters, yeah theres shock value in some of the first chapters but the rest of the story is fucking amazing.
The MC, Agni, is really really interesting as a character. The manga deconstructs a lot of things such as life, purpose, the concept of "heroes" and "villains", and society.
Fujimoto is a genius, and after finishing the manga would later go on to write Chainsaw Man.
Land of the Lustrous (Houseki No Kuni).
One part cutesy and one part psychoogical horror, this manga takes place after 6 meteors crash into earth and eradicate humans. The only surviving landmass, a small island, is then inhabited by genderless gem people that look exactly like humans but are made of minerals. They have to fight off Lunarians, gaseous humanoids that supposedly want to use the gems as jewelry.
It gets DEEP, and I mean DEEP with the psychological and philosophical aspects. It shows how immortality impacts the mind, and demonstrates the Theseus paradox with the main character, Phosphophyllite. As Phos loses more and more of their body parts, they are replaced with body parts from other minerals, and more and more of the original Phos is lost as time goes on. Character development is peak and it really goes somewhere. The art is also BEAUTIFUL and it shows the beauty of the gems in a way that no other mangaka could in my opinion. 108 chapters. I wouldn't recommend it to people who want adventure/action stories or stories with a lot of fighting or blood.

already read it. Sato pretty much committed 9/11 in Japan in the manga, but in the anime, he just placed some explosives under a building. I like the manga better.

I've read all 108 chapters. Really good. Characters are very well written and character development is peak. You should read it too. Yeah I get that a lot of things written by females sucks a fuckton (just look at booktok) but occasionally you can find a gem. Don't base all of your opinions on what gender the author is.

Generalizations exist for a reason. And in the case of female-oriented books, they tend to conform to the rule more than exclude themselves from it. I'll still check out that one manga you mentioned. Although all it will do is most likely prove my point, i will read it and provide feedback.

Most "booktok" (eugh) books just have someone's back blown out every chapter. Booktok oversexualizes serious things like SA, crime, etc. It's become so watered down that these stupid pieces of shit don't read anything unless it has steamy hot sex.

Just looked the term up. I guess that's probably why they have made edits of Judge Holden with his quotes from an audiobook, while probably having never read Blood Meridian.

Judge Holden, among other "pure evil" villains like AM and Johan Liebert, are pretty well-written as far as villains go. Johan Liebert is very complex and intricate as a character, and it's often debated whether or not he's pure evil or just broken (though he isn't sad or misunderstood, the events that happened in his childhood created the monster inside of him)
But a lot of people on TikTok and other platforms have really watered down what made these villains so good, and merely use them for the same repetitive edits.
Booktok doesn't really know about Blood Meridian though. They just read lazy bullshit that's essentially just hentai but in book form.

To be honest, i kind of liked Judge Holden, because he's not cartoonishly evil, but is rather morally ambiguous, isn't motivated by being simply evil for the sake of it, but he's a charismatic egoist who embraces his beliefs on war and natural order. He's actually human.
As for Johan, i haven't read enough to judge him, but i will.
