diagnose me

No.1494125 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Over the past year or two, I've had several periods of time lasting anywhere from a couple hours to a couple months where I get the following symptoms:

-Racing thoughts with zero brain fog, perfectly clear
-Flights of ideas
-Excellent focus, ability to switch to and from subjects with ease
-Grandiosity and the feeling that most others are inferior to me, that I'm invincible, I'm very attractive, etc.
-Extreme energy, psychomotor agitation, fidgeting and speedwalking
-Chasing stimulation like caffeine, nicotine, fast-paced music, sunlight, exercise, drawing, typing or taking notes on paper, and increased enjoyment of these activities
-Increased creativity
-Increased hate for things or people I don't like
-Impulsive behavior, bold and confrontational, taking up new hobbies
-Decreased empathy, very self-centered like I am the only one who matters in the world
-Tendency to hyperfixate on subjects
-Euphoria, can't stop smiling and giggling involuntarily
-Rushing feeling in my chest similar to a rollercoaster or the come-up of an acid trip
-Muscles tense up, particularly the hamstrings and feet
-Feeling that my skin and body is "buzzing"
-Handwriting changes, gets more erratic
-Talk a lot more than usual and faster, very rarely stuttering while belting out lots of information
-Compulsively blinking excessively
-Enhancement of these symptoms when I drink caffeine

Has been triggered by stimulating environments such as school, work or caffeine consumption. I would think that it's bipolar 2, except for how there's little to no sleep deprivation, and when I am sleep deprived, the effects are diminished. The symptoms can be present almost every day for long periods of time, but they've only ever lasted up to 4 hours in their most extreme form. There does seem to be a lingering effect where they are weaker, for up to a day. I've felt depressed before, but never thought much of it and I don't spend very much time depressed, it's always in the winter months.
