Hey all, I recently moved and, for some reason, now I'm starting to hear a weird sound coming from my PC's aux port to my headphones every few minutes. This also happens with my Logitech G51, also plugged to my aux port, so it's not an issue with the headphones themselves. I was able to find a video that demonstrates the EXACT pattern of the noise I'm hearing (at least in the beginning, then it's just random garbage). The thing that bothers me is that the video was titled as "That sound your old pc speaker does when you receive a phone call" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYjs7vsaSEw), and the comments suggest it might be related to 2G/3G or dialup, but the thing is that I am not using either of those. I live in Argentina, so it's possible someone nearby might still be using it (if that can even affect me), but even then I'm not too sure since I'm not in the middle of nowhere.
I am not exactly sure if grounding might have anything to do, but my power plug has ground. However, I am not confident at all that the entire house is properly grounded, as we've already had quite some issues with some plugs and ceiling fans being shorted. I'd appreciate any potential hints as to what the issue could be, I can supply more info if needed.
