its over, wtf is causing this

The monitor has no signal so i can't tell. It was up until now randomly reaching windows if i powered off the pc on and off.

Removing one ram stick reliably got the peripherals to turn on but wouldn't last to the next day. Now nothing seems to work.

In short, you need to determine if it's a hardware or software fault first, so you halve your workload. The Windows update obviously points to software, but at the same time you should be able to have a working screen before you start loading the OS.

I'd take the rig apart. Don't take the cooler off the GPU or CPU or anything like that, but inspect every component to see if there's any visible damage, especially the connectors. Make sure the connectors fit well, especially if you've got that new shitty one for Nvidia GPUs. Boot with minimal possible required components to POST. You might want to reset CMOS, but do note that you might want to set the BIOS/EFI back to what you were using before. Another thing to try is disabling features there to see if a mobo component is causing an issue. It could also be a PSU issue.

When you say "peripherals", what else is there? Be descriptive. If you are reaching the OS reliably (please confirm this), I would just reinstall the whole OS next. If that doesn't fix it, you should, just like in the previous paragraph, test with minimum components and keep adding from there; if you have dumb wired USB keyboards and mice at hand to replace any wireless shit, now is the time to utilize them to see if drivers might be at fault.

Peripherals are a hdmi Monitor, usb keyboard and usb mouse.

At first all 3 were not turning on. The monitor has power from the wall but the usb devices wouldnt power.

At the moment, the usb keyboard is drawing power but not the mouse.

I'm suspicious its the psu.

I can't reach the OS reliably, it was random after rebooting the system 5-10 times

I could try reinstall the whole OS
