My family has an old ceremonial prop (samurai?) helmet that was bought sometime in the 60's or 70's. In the box that the helmet came in there was a little wooden block with this writing on it,

I can't seem to get any online image reader to recognize the text, especially not the left side which looks pretty stained and scribbled.

Can anyone translate?
