>>1495827I stopped playing honkai because it has this FOMO (fear of missing out), they had like 6 or so girls (can't actually remember the exact number) and the characters were just variants of the same girls. The problem was the usual gacha-problem, they seem to give rewards for doing stuff daily/weekly/monthly, so it later becomes a chore, and get bored fast when you reach the "end content".
For genshin impact, it feels a bit cheap.
There's only 5 models for every character
Male -> tall, short
Female -> tall, short, tiny
And in the female tiny case, they look like gremlins, like... there are children npc too, but the playable characters look nothing like them (the children npc look normal, and the playable look like potatoes). And they recicly everything for these models (the potato model has this "runing like a retard doing a plane with their extended arms" for every single one of them).
Yeah, the way the graphics and everything is handled seems really nice, but it's like they made these molds, just put some clothes/skin variants on them and release it as a new character. I'm betting there ain't even a "height" chart because every character sharing the same model has the same height, and then there's these "social events" where they try to create some "web community" to share stuff like in some facebook shit giving likes and such (at least for me, an antisocial who hates making public my personal info and tastes, it seems annoying and don't participate). And then there's the community, which was pretty toxic when I was playing, there's no massive multiplayer mode, but there are some modes which let you invite/visit others and beat bosses, and most of the times I had to be stuck with trolls or people who were really annoying (luckily it had this "seal my world and don't let anyone even try to enter" option, so I had to activate that when I became really annoyed).
There's also the censorship. Because hoyo became CCP property.
I haven't tried star rail nor zzz,
