A friend of mine asked me if it's possible to use AI to make a simple edit to a spoken sentence, like this:

to
>Happy birthday John
That's the example he gave me.
Basically, to change one word. And I told him that it can be done by creating an AI voice model of the person, but he said "no, no. It's a very simple edit, basically just one word".

And I told him that even for that you'd need a model, but I'm not actually sure.
Can it be done in a simpler way?
