I have a friend group of 5 friends including me and we struggle to have games all five of us can play. What are your suggestions?

if you want to destroy your friendship and sanity, then league, dota or any other 5 player moba.
maybe even deadlock, but then you have one random dude every time.
Counter strike also has 5 player teams.

as for proper suggestions:
terraria is amazing and has a 16 player cap.
factorio just got 2.0 update and dlc and has basically no player cap.
any 5 player tabletop game with tabletop simulator.
elden ring with seamless coop mod.
some old classic games in gmod.
maybe arma if youre into that.
you could also fuck around in vrchat.
farming simulator if youre into that.

its actually harder to find something than i first thought

It's possible to play left 4 dead 2 over 4 players with a mod or something.
I like Alien Swarm: Reactive drop for an overhead shooter. This is the community developed version that gets updates every now and then
payday 2 with the big lobby mod
Sven coop for half life 1 coop
Synergy, Obsidian Conflict, or garry's mod for half life 2 coop

We already play DnD and none of them have an xbox to play l4d2 or gmod and they dont have pcs that can run them.
