How to find best movies for high quality person like me? I could just open website about movies and open their ranking of best movies and watch the movies from the list. The problem is, these movies are not best, because most people who watch and rank movies are retards. What I want in movies (a movie can have just one of the thing): -deep, interesting story, that shows problems and weaknesses of humans -interesting setting, such as ancient, medieval, fantasy, sci-fi, space, hybrid creatures, etc. -evil, such as crime, mafia, corruption, capitalism, pedophilia -attack on values of common people, religion, mainstream -nice stuff to see such as landscapes, castles, hot teenagers, galaxies and planets I don't like movies for retards and goys such as: -movie that is all about budget and sales, that is boring and predictable, but has very famous and handsome actors, expensive cars, buildings, clothes etc but doesn't offer any true quality -action movies for 90 IQ men, so movies that are only about stupid violence, bullets, fighting, murder, and nothing else. However, a movie like Scarface isn't like that, because it does offer something more than just violence and guns. -romantic comedy, a movie for 90 IQ women -most comedies, as they are for retards, but there are exceptions such as some black comedy movies -woke movies that show women as strong, niggers as smart, jews as good people, nazis as bad.

Genres. I can accept any genre as long as movie offers some quality, but what I think about some genres: -horror movies - most are shitty, they don't offer anything just skeletons and demons jumping to camera and making scary voices. Actually, I like skeletons but not in horror movies -comedies - most are shitty and for dumb people, maybe except black comedies and parodies -sci-fi - I like them because they show something interesting, not boring life in our world -ancient rome, stone age, iron age etc - I like this settings -medieval or medieval fantasy - I like this setting, however such movies tend to be boring -thriller - not bad, but the problem is they are very predictable and you already know how the movie will end, the good character always survives and kills the bad guy -war (modern, such as 1940) - I hate, horrible setting and they are not interesting -crime/mafia - ok, but only if it offers something more than guns and dead people -anime/animated - I don't have a problem with visuals, but the problem is anime is for children and has very primitive story and happenings in the movie -western - setting is ok but they tend to be boring and predictable, all westerns seem to be the same movie -action movies - I don't mind cars and violence, but most action movies are for retards, there is nothing more than guns and cars in the movie -drama - good, as long as it wasn't made only for women -musical - I think it's ok, but haven't watched many -romance - bad movies for women, except romance about adult man with lolita Date of production Can be any, movie from 1900, 1950, 2000, 2050, as long as movie is good. Budget Can be any, 100 million budget movie or 1 million budget.

>most people who watch and rank movies are retards. Actually this is a more recent fuck up. Mainly because shit like jeets and normies have smartphones and ease of access to the internet and companies employ shills and make bots to try boost their sales of movies. Like iirc right now on RT, black panther is the best movie ever made. Shit its a weak capeshit movie in the MCU, let alone best movie ever created but what happened is nigger loving BLM fags all shilled the fuck into that shit on the internet to "do their part for the nig community" If you try look at IMDB and RT scoring before say 2007 when the internet 2.0 normie fakebook and shitter invasion you will find that these sites USED to be for actual cinephiles who rated every movie honestly. So as you could imagine citizen kane is in the top or at the top of both lists. RT is more fucked than IMDB but they are both fucked now. Still IMDB having shawshank as the top is rather genuine. Anyway, if you want to find film and artfag shit go to /tv/ and join the film threads. If you want to find the best movies ever made, like I said try and find scores for movies pre 2007 at least. Maybe some years past that the scores were real, I cannot remember the exact year the sites got fucked. You can also go on letterboxd and find the "top rated" movies, genres etc as well as trying to find users on letterboxd and IMDB

almost every movie from that era was driven by dialogue, not action or special effects. there are still a lot of dialogue movies being produced in the modern era but most of them rely on action sequences to liven them up. a blind person could be entertained by old movies; not so much by John Wick

OP is into rhetoric that makes mountains out of molehills. And if there isn't a molehill, he creates one just to have something to keep complaining about in the thread.

I'm not gonna try and throw my fave movies on you, cuz I see you're so particular that it's not worth wasting time
So I'm gonna encourage you to start researching the concept of Movie Canon Theory
In cinema studies, there's a concept of a list of the quintessential movies. They're usually movies made before 2002, are character driven, and lack action in a lot of the film canon theory. They're considered valuable to the history of cinema, but aren't necessarily popular. Stuff that a Film professor might throw on in a college

Here are some recommendations:

Late Spring
Goodfellas
Bicycle Thieves

I want a method that will allow me to find best movies for me, and quality movies.
Watching movies from a list posted by random person isn't a valid method.

This is a solid 10/10 answer in fact I would include a lot more but I only picked movies on the latest BFI director's list since the OP who happens to be a retard mentioned:
>I could just open website about movies and open their ranking of best movies and watch the movies from the list. The problem is, these movies are not best, because most people who watch and rank movies are retards.
So I thought well maybe you are looking at the wrong list maybe you need the acclaimed and respected British Film Institute 10 yearly director's poll and if this does not satisfy you, you are a fucking retard.
