Only some websites are inacessible?

Youtube says I'm offline.
I can post on 4chan.
Twitter says Something went wrong, but don’t fret — let’s give it another shot.
I can google stuff.
What's going on?

check if your pc time is ok.
This happens to me whenever I forget to turn off my pc and leave it disconected (a laptop), then the internal clock battery runs out and the time is messed up.
Google and many other pages mark an error whenever you try to use it with an incorrect time in your IP timezone.
If not, maybe it's a firewall thing.

I don't know if it's the exact same problem, but I experienced it a few weeks ago. Normally I had to turn off my router and sometimes it would go back to normal, but after a while it was very slow to access some pages even though the internet was working, some like Twitter just wouldn't load. What I did was take it out of automatic and leave my DNS at 8.8.8.8, but where I read it said I could try 1.1.1.1 as well.
After that I didn't have this problem again.
