I’m trying to fix a possible battery or hardware issue with my laptop. It had never had an issue with its battery or charging until Monday night. The battery would begin to deplete while plugged in, eventually staying at 0% for maybe 20 minutes which it would then fully shut off. After dying, it would stay at zero and not charge except for one instance where I got it back up to full charge though this only happened once. Yesterday, it shut off again a little while after reaching 0%, but this time the LED charging indicator was completely shut off even while plugged in, which has never happened before. The orange light was always there up until this point less than 24 hours ago. The power button doesn’t even flash when pressed or give a low battery screen or anything

I got this laptop a little over four years ago and it’s worked perfectly ever since. It’s a Lenovo IdeaPad 3. Is this a known problem?
