Hi /wsr/ I'm trying to find the name of a manga I read years ago. It was anthology of stories, I remember the plot of one of them being something like this:
A company has developed a matchmaking app, but the director doesn’t believe it will succeed, so she agrees with her assistant to become a test subject.
The assistant contacts MC, a guy planning to propose to his girlfriend but looking to get a stable job first. (I dont't remember if he was unemployed or working part-time at the time.) The assistant makes him an offer: he will pretend to be the director’s “lover” for a set period (I think it was until the director admits she’s fallen in love with him), and in return, the company will offer him a position. He agrees and becomes the director’s househusband, hiding his “job” from his girlfriend.
Over time, the director falls in love with him, but eventually learns he has a girlfriend. She's heartbroken but acknowledges that the app works and approves of him joining the company. MC then tells his girlfriend the truth, which, surprisingly, doesn't upset her. She says something like, “You did it for us.” He realizes he's fallen for the director and tells his girlfriend something like, “You weren’t really in love with me; it could have been anyone.” And goes back to make amends with the director.
In the end, MC and the director end up together. She continues her career as a successful businesswoman, and he becomes her househusband.
Any help is appreciated.
