>>1501287>>1501290>>1501291I've been studying Japanese as a hobby since well over a decade and I don't know who this person is, but from popular culture, I can tell that he's wrong or biased, if the two snippets you've sniped summarizes his entire position on the subject.
While the differentiation between fiction and reality in Japanese lolicon culture exists on some level, it's different than what "pure-lolicon" in the west will want you to believe.
Actually talk to Japanese people. Japanese image boards where lolicon talk is permissible usually have people talk about real children from time to time. The amount of times I have seen naked kids while visiting the wrong thread was a culture shock, but I guessed that it was tolerated.
Before the 90s, they had magazines with "lolicon" in the title that featured actual nude child models.
Japanese lolicon are much more blunt about what they like about children. They will not shy away from calling real-life children hot.
Some artists have stated that their works help lolicon stay satiated and not let their urges take over and spill into the real world.
I think your western views (and whoever that guy is) are giving you a false impression.
Yes, many Japanese people claim that they are 2D-only, but that doesn't have to be because they find children disgusting, quite the opposite, they're 2D-only because they don't want to hurt what they love. Stories about frustrated lolicon around real children are not rare on the web.
All that being said, someone's word or the history of lolicon does not change the fact that you find children, fictional or not, attractive.
And just like you're going to call me a faggot if I said I love yaoi, normalfags will call you a pedophile if you say you love children having sex in a comic.
This is not something that you will ever get rid of.
