trying to remember the name of an action/martial arts anime from the 90's. the protagonist was a female fighter that had a little brother(?) following her along. she had a weird mullet haircut with braided ponytail and scars all over her body. she was granted some special power that allowed her to perform special techniques. I believe the first episode had her fighting in a tournament. memory is pretty vague but this is all I can remember.
