I'm so fucken mad.
All I wanted is to make my external hard drives available on a separate network so I can access them in my home from my laptop.

These are 2 linux computers.
I made a samba share and VLC and celluloid will not play the video files on it (despite other files being available and working).
This apparently is a common problem.

What the literal fuck! Someone suggested to not use samba because it is shit made to interact with windows computers. I do not need a windows computer to interact with it.

So what the fuck am I supposed to do???
Everywhere every linux fag is shilling samba!
Samba is the fucken default in network sharing on linux mint.
A Windows computer will never connect to this neither can it.

Help me linux brothers!
