I recently purchased an UST Projector and CLR screen to project onto.
I haven't received these yet but a question I have which I haven't been able to find an answer to is how fragile is the projector screen?
The manufacturers installation spec recommends to lay the screen on a clean, non-woven material, to use gloves when assembling to avoid oily stains and to wash only with water/soap.
I was thinking of installing the screen behind curtains but now I'm wondering if the curtains incidentally brushing against the screen would damage it?
And when washing, do you need to wash in a certain direction relative to the grain of the screen? i.e. only up or only sideways to avoid breaking the microscopic sawtooth structure?
And I guess if someone touches it or bumps it you're kinda just fucked?
Haven't been able to find good answers to these questions if anyone has more experience with these things help would be appreciated.
