Meant to click /vr/ whew, anyway like the guy above said unpacking a RAR, tarball, or ZIP won't be an issue. It's when you execute malicious things or let them install DLLs that the payload can do anything unless it's some really unique exploit no one has seen before.
Streaming is not dangerous and won't give you a virus. Theoretically someone could come up with a new streaming protocol with vulnerabilities or someone could man-in-the-middle you but it's generallly safe and those apply to anything really, not just streaming.
Someone getting your IP doesn't mean shit. The net-facing IP is the external IP of your router (or business or college network), not your PC's IP so they'd have to be pretty good to get to you in 2024. There are IPs all over the web, why would they target you?
