I am looking for resources to create or access historical maps for educational purposes. Ideally, I need a website where I can create custom historical maps i.e. from a blank map of Europe in 1715, allowing me to highlight or color specific nations and export the final result. Alternatively, a good source of historical maps of Europe and the world across different periods of history.
I remember years ago it was easy to just type on google "Europe map date" and a lot of good resolution images came out while, as of late, I can't find shit.
