Save File Location for "I Wanna Escape into My Mind"

I've been playing a game called I Wanna Escape Into My Mind, and I want to back up my save file, but I can't find it. I suppose it is not in the folder of the game itself but some kind of global location like appdata or the registry.
Does anyone know where it is?

Install the free program called "Everything" (by voidtools). It's a very fast file searching program.
If you don't put anything in the search bar, you can order by "date modified" and see all the files on your computer that were recently modified.

Start the game and save. Since the save file was recently modified, it should be somewhere at the top of the list in Everything. (Right click => Open path for the location.)

This is a pretty good idea, thanks for the suggestion. Using this, I confirmed the game wasn't using the file system to store the save data, so I managed to find it in the registry.
I Wanna Escape Into My Mind (IWEIMM) stores the save data at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\DefaultCompany\I Wanna Escape Into My Mind]
