I'm most particular to the darker, horror/mystery types like Angel's Egg and Wicked City. The older it is the higher the chances I'll like it as I love the hand drawn animation look and feel from the 80/90s. Friends have tried to get me into shows like Death Note but the theme song is annoying and there's way too many episodes for me so I'm exclusively looking for movies but I'm willing to give manga a shot as well.
