i'm trying to replay bowser's inside story but my old 2ds has some screwed up buttons. i tried melonds and it works nearly perfectly except for the noticeably longer time you have to wait between screen transitions. it seems i'm not the only one who had this problem, and there is a fix for it here.

however, i have no idea how to implement this fix. the way the guy talks about it seems to indicate you can just download the branch linked in the comments yet i don't seem to have that option, perhaps it's because i don't have an account or perhaps it's because i simply don't know how to do it. so basically, can somebody link the download to the branch that fixes that problem or tell me how to download it? or just what you do with the code there? i tried putting it in my ini file but it didn't do anything.
