I installed Debian and the GUI is absolute shit, what the hell.
Desktop is empty, program icons are hidden in the applications view.
also why is the application window in fullscreen? This is Windows8 crap.

How do I fix Debiane? It was supposed to be a solid OS but this is the worst GUI I've seen in my entire life.
GNOME Tweaks + Dash to panel made it useable but it's still not perfect.
