Apart from that, the only official distributions seem to be as a binary or a snap package (no thanks).
IntelliJ is the reason I made this post; if it wasn't spooky, it would be more straightforward and wouldn't use evasive language and convoluted, far-from-normal build instructions.
The more I look into Eclipse, the more normal it seems, but I dunno for sure, so I asked here to see if there was some unicorn program I'm missing. If not, I guess I'll stick to vim.
