I'm a complete noob when it comes to music production, but I'd like to make original music for a game I'm working on. I want to find a MIDI keyboard for under $50 (burgerland) either from a manufacturer or store or from ebay or something like that, but I don't know what's good and what's crap.
My only real requirement is that it be fully compatible with GNU/Linux. Recommendations? Advice? Elitist whining? Let me hear it all.
