back in the 2010's i remember this webcomic of a guy describing through flashbacks how he managed to get to his 30's and alone. If i recall correctly, the first panel is like "hey teen anon lets go play basketball" or something, and he brushes them off cause he is playing vydia. Fast foward to when he is in college, a girl asks him out and he does the same.

The comic ends with him, being 30 and with the sentences aside being like "30 yr old virgin, have no friends no family no job experience" etc etc etc. the OP closes the comic with himself, crying a single tear with his eyes closed
