There were a couple weird lemons I wanted to pick from the tree once they were yellow and then take pictures of them. But, the branch they were on got accidentally cut off by someone else. So, we stuck the branch into a bucket of water and compost in the hopes that it would help it continue to mature, kind of like cut flowers.
Is this sufficient? Could we be doing anything better or different? I really was looking forward to this and it really was a huge blow when they came in to tell me what happened.
