Its a set screw, possibly for a bathroom trim piece or something of that sort.
Half a cm is too smol for a doorknob.

LOL! I ACTUALLY USED THAT IN MY ENGINEERING PEOJECT. It's "A headles pressure screw" according to DIN normalization (German). You can actually buy spares if necessary, these seem to be cheap but you have to get the diameter of the screw measured (normalized)

Assuming this is a very small screw. I've used screws exactly like that for my 3D printer. They lock in place the extruder heatblock to the top part. Pic related is the location of the screw.
