Hello, I run Archlinux with KDE and I'd like to put files to my clipboard through shortcuts.

I know how to perform a command through a shortcut, but I don't know how to send the content of a file from a command prompt.

I RTFM'd xclip but I couldn't find anything in the manual. "echo 'foo' | xclip" in the background doesn't work, since it doesn't print anywhere.
